What You’ll Do

• Partner with the Retention Manager to execute the email and SMS calendar
• Build clear, actionable creative briefs so designers deliver revenue-driving emails
• Write punchy, on-brand copy for email and jump in to support print, ads, and in-store signage when needed
• Guard the Road Runner Sports brand guide in every brief, subject line, CTA, and pixel.
• QA copy and creative for tone, visuals, and legal must-haves before anything ships.
• Use modern tech, including AI platforms, to spark ideas, speed up workflows, and polish copy
• Project manage the entire Email/SMS schedule, sweating every detail and never missing a deadline
• Pull weekly results in Google Analytics, spot the story in the numbers, and share it with the team
• Become our in-house expert on the ESP/CDP (Zeta preferred)

What You’ll Bring

• 1-2 years hands-on email production and copywriting in an ESP (preferred)
• Hands-on QA experience with tools like Litmus (preferred).
• Elite project-management skills: you juggle dozens of sends, still catch the missing comma, and ship on time
• Strong writing portfolio that shows brand voice range and performance focus
• Comfort pulling and interpreting results (GA4, ESP dashboards)
• Bachelor’s in Marketing, Business, or similar—or equivalent real-world experience
