Fulfillment Center Assistant Manager

Join our team as a Fulfillment Center Assistant Manager and build your path to the top! You’ll lead, facilitate, and quarterback the team to align and achieve Fulfillment Center goals. You’ll also be responsible for the day-to-day operational success of the Fulfillment Center while Building Something Great Together as a team and improving the WOW experience of our Customers!

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage our key performance indicators, labor, and resources to ensure team alignment on Fulfillment Center goals
• Ability to facilitate training and development of new and current Team Members
• Oversee the Fulfillment Center Safety team to ensure a safety-focused culture is established and maintained
• Establish strong collaborative relationships with our logistics team and corporate supply chain team
• Formulate cross collaborative relationships with our VIP Contact Center and Retail teams to improve the WOW experience of our customers
• Foster an environment centered around Road Runner Sports values creating a positive and high-energy space contributing to the overall goals of Road Runner Sports
• Ability to provide direction in troubleshooting operational roadblocks that may arise and implementing process improvements to support Fulfillment Center team development

Qualifications:

• Demonstrate a level of leadership that comes from 4-5 years of progressive leadership experience in warehouse management
• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related business degree 
• Reliability and flexible availability that may include days, evenings, holidays, and weekends
• Strong verbal and written communication skills that will inspire and motivate team members at all levels.
• Advanced computer skills including the ability to work with Microsoft Office programs and navigate the online systems.
• Able to prioritize, and use time management skills to keep ahead of daily, weekly and monthly tasks.
